Movie Themes played on Beer Bottles
{via Bonnie Beth}
from the page
This video is a medley of our favourite movie themes! For this one we collaborated with Budapest Art Orchestra in Hungary where we recorded the orchestral parts and shot some of the video. If you watch closely you see one of us, Johannes, is actually conducting the orchestra. 🙂 Then we recorded the bottles (and more video) in our own studio in Copenhagen when we got back.
Nerd talk:
Music: The orchestral part was recorded on a SSL in Hungary and the bottle music is recorded with an Apogee Quartet Audio Interface and miked with some Neumann km184’s and some Sm57’s for the Terminator trash-percussion. The trailer voice is miked with a Neumann U87.
Graphics: We did everything ourselves including the 20th Century Fox animation in the beginning (using Blender and the Fox model made by Yoshi Twilight / MarioDash2000 (aka IcePony64 on DeviantArt)).
List of themes:
00:34 – 20th Century Fox Theme
00:55 – Hobbit Theme (LoTR)
01:17 – Terminator 2
02:08 – Game of Thrones
02:26 – Pirates of the Caribbean
02:54 – Harry Potter
03:00 – Empire March (Star Wars)
03:22 – Jurassic Park
03:40 – Gremlins
03:53 – Indiana Jones

Re Top 500 Passwords:
A fascinating list, especially with the categorization added. But it drives me to distraction that the rather popular password “trustno1” is categorized as “rebellious/rude” and not as “nerdy/pop”!
