This Is A Clickbait Headline About Tipping

Are you happy to see the shining faces of your favorite Mad Art Folk back on your computer and/or teeny phone screen? Because we are thrilled to come back and share our art-sy, science-y, geek-y stuff with you.
It makes us happy to share. That’s how it’s always been. And if you all could read our Secret Backchannel Communications, you’d see how much fun we have doing this.

With the relaunch of Mad Art Lab, we’ve decided to try something a little different. It’s An Experiment in Getting Paid.

It goes like this- you can now tip the writers directly! For instance, at the bottom of this article is my bio, where I tell you where to find my website and Twitter and IG and all that nonsense. Same as ever. But now I have a Venmo account and it’s linked right there in the bio. You, dear reader, can tip individual contributors!

If you’re reading an article and you like it, please consider throwing a dollar or two into that writer’s tip jar. It may only be a dollar here and there but it’ll help us to know you’re here and that you like what we’re doing.

And I swear that it’s not some sort of contest wherein, at the end of each month, the lowest earner is thrown into a Shame Hole that Ryan has dug out in the Canadian wilderness. Really. It’s not that at all.
