Mad Quickies 10.5
- The art and science of…the circus!
- GV Art London is a gallery committed to exploring the inter-relationship of art and science and the dialogue that results. We like that! Their upcoming exhibition is Sense of Taste by Ken and Julia Yonetani, Aust multi-media artists. {October 7 – November 22}
- Helen Pynor’s work is elegant and compelling. Her most recent series, Liquid Ground, features underwater images of undulating clothes. And organs. {We found Pynor through the archives at GV Art London and will likely feature more artists from that source.}
- The Doodle Lamp. You know you want one. {Stop by the Doodle’s page at Razy2. Clever. And slightly vexing.}
- Star Wars pancakes! {via Geo}
- You lucky San Fran people can visit the exhibition Houdini: Art and Magic at the Contemporary Jewish Museum. Joshua Wyatt at Flavorpill says some interesting things about the master.
- Richard Feynman. Oh, how we love him. Skepchick featured him in their Quickies recently. So we’re totally copying them. Or are we?
“Gotta have a little bit of orange juice, juice, juice, gotta, gotta, gotta have-a little little bit of orange juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice, juice…”
What wonderful old nut 🙂
