About a month ago I checked something off my bucket list, I gave a TEDx Talk. Queue the montage of months of practicing and nervous breakdowns. Why did I want to do this again?
Because this is my story and it is important for the world to hear it. Engineering is actually girly. Please Share!
For those of you who somehow do NOT know what a TED talk is (are you new to the internet?), it stands for Technology, Entertainment, and Design. Their tagline is “Ideas Worth Spreading.” They organize large TED conferences several times a year all over the world. They also allow their name and branding to be put on smaller TEDx conferences organized by local communities. I was fortunate to be chosen by my local TEDxMadison organizers to speak about a topic near and dear to my heart. I am so grateful for their feedback and support.

Hmm, we seem to be having technical difficulties, the video should be showing. Give me a minute.
The video should be showing now. Thanks Ethan!
No problemo!
