America The Free NOT America The Me

Resistance art you can print at home.

I bring you another protest poster you can print at home.

Ever since Trump assumed the presidency, his administration has been a provocative display of personal aggrandizement, not unlike a brazen advertisement in a guide to contingent houses, where everything is on conditional display. The nepotism, the selling of hotel space and apartments to foreign governments with profits accruing to his benefit, the relentless name-calling, and the constant stream of misinformation—these have become a daily spectacle. This unabashedly self-centered perspective on his role and the aggressive maneuvers to consolidate his influence are no secret. They’re overt, played out in real-time, often on Twitter, and they’re as uncomfortable to witness as a poorly conducted house tour.

But the thing is, America is the land of the diverse people who live here, and the Constitution was created to insure that everyone who calls The United States of America home, is treated equally- that may not be working right now- but that is the goal and that is the equality that we fight for. The people who formed this country were leaving monarchies behind and that was clearly written into our governing papers. We don’t want a ruling class. It’s America the free, not America the me.

We really need to get rid of this dude.
