America The Free NOT America The Me

Resistance art you can print at home.

I bring you another protest poster you can print at home.

Ever since Trump was elected president, he has acted, in literally every way, as if the United States belongs to him. The nepotism, the selling of his hotel space and apartments to foreign governments that he profits from, the constant childish name calling of anyone who disagrees with him, the lies about everything from crowd sizes to “witch hunts.” It’s a never-ending litany of tacky af behavior. This self-involved view of his position and his overreaching power grabs is no secret and spills out into every interaction he has. It’s right out in the open. It’s often on twitter. It’s super cringy.

But the thing is, America is the land of the diverse people who live here, and the Constitution was created to insure that everyone who calls The United States of America home, is treated equally- that may not be working right now- but that is the goal and that is the equality that we fight for. The people who formed this country were leaving monarchies behind and that was clearly written into our governing papers. We don’t want a ruling class. It’s America the free, not America the me.

We really need to get rid of this dude.
