We love you folks. When we wake up in the morning we don’t even get around to brushing our teeth before we’re on this site going over your comments and thinking about how much we value this community. Hearing your opinions and learning from you guys is why we’re here doing what we do and we all felt it was about time to give a little something back. So, in the fine tradition of Skepchick, we’ve decided to have our own Commenter of the Week contest.
Of course we want to put our own Artistic flare to this contest so We’re offering one of a kind, custom avatars as prizes. That’s right, if you win you get to ask for any little thing your heart desires as an avatar. Want a drawing of you from 3rd grade with bunny ears on? We can make that happen. Want a drawing of you as Hello Kitty Darth Vader? It shall be done.
So here’s how it happens:
You see a comment you really love, just slap your own comment under it that says “@thenameofthecommentor and COTW” and we’ll add it to that weeks commenter pool. If you’re chosen we’ll announce it on Friday and by Monday you’ll have a shiny new avatar to show off around the internets.
