Much like the scientific method, the act of thinking as a rational skeptic can be reduced to a simple method based upon investigation, evidence and conclusions that remain neutral in emotion so that when new empirical evidence presents itself as the scientific body of knowledge grows, conclusions based in skeptical analysis may change over time. The skeptic places value on empirical knowledge provided by science and uses this information to help explain the complexities of life and the human experience.
