This is a friendly reminder that if you see unjust things happening in the world, standing by silently may seem like a rational and pacifist option but that is not the case. Many people are either uninformed, in fear or unable to speak up to leaders or those in power. Those wielding power depend on this silence for it helps them push their agenda freely and without recourse or resistance. When we are silent, the oppressor freely crushes those who are weaker. No one person can stop fascism or oppression but voices joined in unison can overcome. It only takes 1/3 of the population to topple a fascist regime, but it must be a sustained and very loud fight. Rise up. Speak out.
