There is an interesting idea behind all the people who want to go to Mars in the Mars One project, at least the ones in the promo videos- they all are hopeful that their visit would make their lives matter. Artists often feel the same way about the reasons why they make art. What makes a life matter? What will outlive us? We discuss these complex ideas and learn a bit about the science of bugs.
