Flashback: “What I Want to Be When I Grow Up”
The past few weeks have basically consisted of Rob and me running around like crazy. It has been action-packed at this household and since I haven’t had time to set-up a skeptical or science-type photo session (and now that we’re going on vacation for the next two weeks), I decided I’d take you back in time. In fact, all the way back to July 2011.
In 2011, I took some school photos with my daughters. Since we homeschool them, I don’t do the standard “sit-down-on-a-stool-and-smile-in-front-of-a-backdrop” photos; I try to have a bit of fun with the photos since I have a camera and pretty much know how to take pictures.
That year’s theme was “What I Want to Be When I Grow Up”. Each of our daughters picked what they wanted to have as their career and I created an environment for each of them to act out their future.
Rob and I try to encourage our daughters’ interests and help guide them along their path. Whatever our four scientifically-minded girls decide on being when they grow up, I have a feeling I’m going to be extremely proud of them.
