Random Acts of Art: 4.1 Uncommon iPhonographs

I may have just made up the word iPhonographs, or I am using it wrong. Who cares!? I figure it is a good word to describe a series of photos I took with my iPhone’s camera while I was in Austin, Texas for the American Atheist Convention this past weekend.

While I was in Austin my good friend Matt Dillahunty was kind enough to show me around town. One of the places he took me was a really cool shop called Uncommon Objects. The store contained so much eye-candy it was almost overwhelming. Packed literally floor to ceiling in this shop are meticulously displayed antiques and novelty items. Everything is displayed absolutely beautifully and I mean everything. Even drawers of filing cabinets slide open and the drawers are full of tiny items that are organized by a color or a theme. The store is wonderful. If you ever go to Austin, Texas be sure to pop in for a look.

Below are some of my “iPhonographs” from that excursion.
