• This just in: WE LOVE reader art! This piece is by Tyler and was submitted by her boyfriend, Ryan. We are told it is inspired by Neil Degrasse Tyson. He is inspiring isn’t he! • I made some art of my own this week. It was a painting inspired by the mitochondria in cells. While I was researching it I found another artist who was inspired by these tiny power-houses. Take a look at Odra Noel’s Mitochondria art.

• Speaking of paintings, you know that famous Van Gogh self portrait? Research shows it’s probably not him at all.

• This weeks eye candy: Do a google search for science + sculpture. Go on, I dare you.
