Sunday Morning Illusion

This week we don't so much have an illusion, but a more gentle form of abuse of our senses. I figured the hangovers after St. Patrick's day wouldn't want to cope with the usual brain-breaking.

Ben Heine is a visual artist with some wicked cool stuff. Go look at it all. We're only going to look at one of his styles, though.

Ben has found a clever way of abusing forced perspective and pencil drawings to offer a clever reimagining of the world around him. I've included some of my favorites.

  1. Love the one with the mirror. Makes me think about what's "correct", since it blocks not only our view of the mirror, but also the mirrors view of the photographer.
