Random Acts of Art: 2.26 Women in Secularism 2

This weekend I completed some pendants that will be given as gifts to the speakers and staff at Women in Secularism 2 conference happening in Washington, DC May 17th-19th.

I recreated their logo in ceramic which was a bit tedious and time consuming. I had to paint in all the details including a tiny dot of green in the eyes. I also inked in the crackle glaze to highlight the fissures that form randomly in the glaze during the final firing process. I think the time spent was worth it in the end and I am happy with the result!

If time allows, I will make a few more pendants to have available for sale, for the general public, at my table at the event. I hope to see you there.
