Art Crimes!

Awesome Podcast Alert! Flash Forward, hosted by the wonderful Rose Eveleth, works like this “Flash Forward is a podcast about the future. Each week we take on a possible future scenario — everything from the existence of artificial wombs, to what would happen if space pirates dragged a second moon to Earth.” I love it and so should you.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York has a new logo. And, you guessed it, people have OPINIONS about it.

Scientific artist Heather Dewey-Hagborg takes DNA from discarded gum, cigarette butts and nail clippings to create life-like 3D portraits. Lots of interesting questions are raised here.
