- The Universal Typeface Experiment quests after finding the average of the world’s penmanship. The BIC company is behind this endeavor. After the experiment is over, they will off the typeface as a font for everyone to download. {via Mark H.}
- WOW! Who knew?! Margaret Keane, wife of painter Walter Keane, was virtually pressed into slavery to create the big-eyed children portraits for which her husband took all the credit. This story of an epic art fraud AND spousal abuse is now the subject of a Tim Burton biopic titled “Big Eyes” starring Amy Adams and Christoph Walz. {via Brian G.}
