Harry Potter and the Unexpected Obsession

A while ago, I wrote about some of the aspects of the Harry Potter that I took issue with and how I accidentally wrote a novel in an attempt to make a Harry Potter story without so much abuse and poor teaching.

Well, I’ve just released a second novel set in the Harry Potter universe, Children of the war, Book Two: A Half-Breed’s Worth

Set eleven years after the events of the original series, the stories follow an orphaned street urchin named Kuro through his first two years at Hogwarts. He is joined by a collection of misfits as they struggle to find their place in the wizarding world.

The books explore themes of poverty, trauma, loneliness, and friendship. The goal was to create a believable sequel series to the original books about Hufflepuff children, investigating the different kinds of heroism that comes from stories more about compassion and the struggles of childhood than of bravery and destined greatness.

Please read and enjoy. They’ve been a delight to write.
