Happy Belated Birthday To Us!

This past Saturday was our 3rd birthday. And you may be wondering, “Why didn’t they do a post celebrating this momentous occasion?”
Thing is, we were going to… I mean, we had planned on getting together for drinks and then we were going to brainstorm on putting together a post to celebrate entering our third year as Skepchick’s scrappy little sister.
And… okay look. We all enjoy a drink, right? And we all like a party. Not a big deal. But when all 20 of us get together… well… things can get out of hand.
We took some pictures, but they got significantly more blurry and… naked as the night went on.
I put up some of the pictures from that night below. The ones that won’t get any of us sued. I don’t think anyone got pictures of me, Ryan and Charles making a human pyramid in our boxers for whiskey shots. But if anyone has some, please delete them.

Before we get to the pictures…

As a special treat for everyone, I have, again, made up a bunch of statistics.

Number of articles published in total: 1557

Number of images of former contributor Maki Naro in all posts: All of them (There is a tiny Maki photoshopped into every image on the website).

Number of us who still don’t understand what a ‘Doge’ is: Just me, probably. Maybe Charles too.

Number of times Cloë has been called a hippie by us: 92

Number of articles in which Anne refers to cooking as The Dark Arts: 5

Number of times Beth and Elizabeth did a Parent Trap-style switcheroo on us: 0 (They don’t look anything alike).

Number of emails exchanged between contributors in the last 3 years: Just shy of 30,000 (that’s not made up).

Percentage occurrence of the phrase “YOU GUYS!!!!!” has been used in said emails: 86%

Number of these categories I recycled or slightly altered from our first anniversary post: Most of them.

Number of MS Paint penis drawings Elyse sends to Ryan, Katie and Dale: It’s like every day you guys.

Number of times Courtney has gotten lost on the way to Lauren’s house: 601

Number of tacos Kyle ate last night: 2

Most Batman-like: Maggie

Number of saxophone solos per week that Smashley provides at Donna’s request: 3 1/2

Sneakiest: A

Average number of Victors: 1.375

Average number of costumes Emily has on hand at any given time: 26

Number of times Amy has told us she loves us: Pretty much every day and we love her right back.

On behalf of all of us here at Mad Art Lab, I’d like to thank our readers and commenters for making this such a fun and rewarding venture. We really love the work we do here and you can’t possibly imagine how much fun we have doing it.
