No Business Like Joe Business

It was a hell of an election. Hatches are being battened, and art’s getting made. One of the things we’re going to miss is the Joe Biden of everyone’s imagination. Since the results, there’s been a lot of farewell pieces that bring us some cheer. Here are a few of our favourites:

Of course, the real Joe would tell us this:

“We think about the countless thousands of other people who suffered so much more than we have with so much less support, so much less reason to go on.

But they get up every morning, every day. They put one foot in front of the other. They keep going.

That’s the unbreakable spirit of the people of America.

That’s who we are. That’s who we are.

Don’t forget it.”

Vice President Joe Biden, 2016 Democratic National Convention

Stay safe.
