It is an honor to present in this episode my friend and a huge inspiration to me – Joanna Ebenstein whose Morbid Anatomy blog is sort of the online Bible of the macabre and the sublime (making Mademoiselle Ebenstein – as I call her – the Patron Saint of Odd). Here she discusses the thinking behind her research, her views on death and beauty and the institution she has created.

Amazing photography at The Secret Museum and Anatomical Theatre.

Thrash Lab’s “Empty America” timelapse travel series takes you to New York City. All the bridge and tunnel people have been sent home and Manhattan has been wiped empty! Penn Station, Wall Street, Central Park, Times Square, The Met and Fifth Avenue have never looked so vacant.
