Mad Quickies: 3D-Printed Battle Armor For Cats, BB-8 At JPL, Art Crimes and More!

Hey gang! As Donna promised on Wednesday, here I am with your week-ending Quickies. There’s some fantastic stuff here, so DIVE IN.

Let’s start this off right: Here is the 3D-printed battle armor for your cat that you requested.

I had an idea to illustrate a map of space exploration a few years ago. I even contacted some astronomers for resources. But it appears that Pop Chart Lab has beaten me to it with this beautiful Chart of Cosmic Exploration print. (It’s waaaaaaay better than what I would have done).

Everyone is rightfully delighted by BB-8’s visit to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab. Look at all of the droids!

The commodification of the life and death of Kurt Cobain continues with the photo documentation of the detritus and assemblages he left behind. You can buy prints? {trash fire emoji}

To cleanse the palate of the previous link, here is the GIF of the day: Bill Clinton giving his thumbs-up-pucker-face to a computer monitor in 1999.

Your weekly dose of ART CRIMES.
