Lab Track: Scientist

I’ve been listening to The Dandy Warhols recently, since I’ll be seeing them at the Chicago iteration of Riot Fest in a few weeks. I happily stumbled upon this old gem, which features simple lyrics about a scientific approach to life over a driving groove. Enjoy!

Scientist
The Dandy Warhols

In me the scientist always stuck on
Always trying this
I try to live on science alone
Analysis and freaky sensitivity
We gotta live on science alone

Yeah, I am a scientist
Yeah, I am a scientist
Yeah, I am a scientist
We gotta live on science alone

Religiously I’m speaking on the science
‘Cause we’ve gotta live on science alone
I tell you what, mathematically, I’m having it
I want to live on science alone

Yeah, I am a scientist
Yeah, I am a scientist
Yeah, I am a scientist
We gotta live on science alone

In me, the scientist always stuck on
Always trying this
I try to live on science alone
Analysis and freaky sensitivity
We gotta live on science alone

Yeah, I am a scientist
Yeah, I am a scientist
Yeah, I am a scientist
‘Cause I can live on science alone
We gotta live on science alone

Yeah, I am a scientist
Yeah, I am a scientist
Yeah, I am a scientist
Yeah, I am a scientist
Yeah, I am a scientist
