Headshots from the Heart – Second Sequel

Do you like games? Do you dislike running long distances? Are you, at least occasionally, a kind, compassionate, or decent human being?

If you answered yes to any of the above, then you need to check out Headshots from the Heart this weekend.

Headshots from the Heart is a charity event run by a group of passionate nerds that believe running slightly more than 26 miles is not the only way to raise money for a good cause. They have a team of players play Borderlands 2 for 24 hours straight and collect donations based on how many headshot kills they accrue. They also host auctions and a gaming party during the event.

This is their third year running. Last year I donated some art. This year, I donate more, and am going to do my part on the livestream.

Every cent of the money raised goes to Childs Play, a charity devoted to improving the lives of children in hospitals through play.

There will be live streaming from Start on Saturday at 12:30pm EDT Saturday, may 3rd to 1:00pm on Sunday, May 4th.

You can donate to the cause here

Or if you prefer to make us work for your money, you can pledge based on the number of headshots here

We also have a bunch of live auctions, happening throughout the event. Check them out here.

Watch, donate, bid, share some love.

And if you’re thinking of not doing so, WHY DO YOU HATE THE CHILDREN?

Also, this is up for auction… Just sayin
