Call to Artists: The Atheist Film Festival

Are you a filmmaker (professional, amateur, or anywhere in between) whose work would be of interest to other skeptics, atheists and freethinkers?

If so, the Atheist Film Festival wants YOU to submit your short films!

The Atheist Film Festival, created in 2008, is world’s first film festival dedicated to showcasing feature films, documentaries, shorts and animated cinema created especially for the secular community. Through July 31, you can submit your heretic-friendly short films to be included in the 2011 Atheist Film Festival, screened alongside other shorts and feature-length films such as the recent and critically-acclaimed The Ledge.

The Atheist Film Festival will take place Sunday, August 21 at the Roxie Theater in San Francisco’s Mission District. For more information on submitting your film (and about the festival in general), please visit sfatheistfilmfestival.org. You can also follow AFF on Twitter at @AtheistFilmFest or on the AFF Facebook fan page. Questions should be directed to atheistfilmfest@gmail.com

* Special thanks to Anne S. for sending us the info!
