MAL’s own Victor at the Reason Rally

Victor, Mad Art Labber Victor, spoke at the Reason Rally last weekend in DC.

I am sad to have missed this… because he was incredible. And I'm a little intimidated to talk about how amazing this is because I don't know if my little blogger words can do justice to Victor's inspiring poet words. In under 5 minutes, he delivered one of the most powerful speeches I've heard advocating for non-believers.

Love you, Victor! On behalf of everyone at MAL, I want to say that we are incredibly proud of you and to have someone like you on our team.

Elyse MoFo Anders is the bad ass behind the Women Thinking, inc and the superhero in charge of the Hug Me! I'm Vaccinated campaign as well as a podcaster, writer, and slacktivist extraordinaire. You probably think she's awesome so you follow her on twitter.

So thrilled I got to see this in real life. A moment of history indeed!

I was also fortunate enough to see this in person, and I was so held by what he was saying that I forgot to take any pictures.
Victor, thank you for representing us (atheists and Mad Art Labbers) so well, and keep up the good work!
And post more performances, damn you!

He performed two more times at The American Atheist convention. Hopefully those were recorded as well!

I'll be able to give Victor an enormous hug for this in just a few hours.

Thanks everyone, I wouldn't have had the opportunity to be up there without all of you. I was there for all of us. I will do my best to post more performances, I'll trick someone into recording me. :-) I managed to do three poems at AAcon, so hopefully the audience recorded some, if not there should be the official version soon enough.
