Doodling in Math Class: Infinity Elephants

Hilarious, smart, and awesome: we need to find this girl and make her one of us, immediately.

I think I just learned math by accident.

    (incredible)

@Zapski: HER! Her awesomeness abounds. I have no idea how that became “hew.”

So going on her usage of “puppy sized elephant” I am going to guess that she is a nerdfighter and follows the vlog brothers.

Woah. I love this! I know what I’m going to be doodling in my art journal today! :D

She’s got a bunch of vids, they’re all excellent (well, going by my sample of three >_>)

Her name is Vi Hart. She has a blog and a Facebook page of awesomeness as well. And she looks like a baby Anne Hathaway. http://vihart.com/

Math, infinity, and an acute sense of geekery – maximum awesomeness.

So to speak. Er, draw :D

Every spare surface today got covered in apollonian gaskets!

From her bio on her site:

“I think the human brain is incredible and strange, so I have developed a great interest in dreaming and consciousness. As a result, I am a trained hypnotist and a lucid dreamer.”

    Uh oh.

  20. pyrion  /  March 10, 2011, 3:19 am

What’s wrong about that? Lucid dreaming is seriously studied by a lot of scientists. It’s real. As is hypnosis.

  21. banyan  /  March 10, 2011, 8:33 am

Vi Hart is great. My favorite video of hers is the mobius strip one.

Lucid dreaming is awesome. However, I’ve never heard of anyone being “trained” as a hypnotist in any sort of scientific way.

But then she is just a very creative person. She might take any woo aspects of that stuff with a grain of salt.

Holy, holy crap!! This is just wonderful! Whole new inspiration for my art journal! And maths by stealth! Does the awesome never end!
