Skeptical Guerilla Art

Street art is fine and dandy but street art that makes you think, well that is super-fantastic!

I’m not advocating defacing of public property, I’m just saying maybe, just maybe we need to keep advertisers a bit more honest and viewers a tad bit more informed.

Thanks to Eugine for sending this image (shot in a NYC subway) in and if you happen to see some science-minded or skeptical themed graffiti or other smart street art during your travels please send it our way!

Oh, I’m gonna start collecting NYC street images now. I bet you we could have an entire photo stream filled with win.

I saw one of these on the subway and vowed to scrawl “But it wouldn’t be the first time 50,000 people were mistaken” if I was ever in an empty car >_> Because I’m a wimp like that.

“It’s time to pray”…yet, “You can be good without God” is somehow egregious and insulting as an advertisement…*sigh*
