The Saga of Biorn
A friend pointed me to the Animation Workshop and their student final projects this year. They are all brilliant in their own way but a couple stood out as things we should see here.
The Saga of Biorn is the first. It has a simple and humorous commentary about the multiplicity of religions.
The next that I thought fit in here was The Backwater Gospel. It is a very effective discussion of the interaction between faith, fear, and isolationism.
Watch, enjoy, share.

I love the Saga of Biorn. The (as a friend called them) projectile nuns and the musak at the end crack me up.
For some reason, on the second one, I feel like I would have liked it much more if it had been a graphic novel rather than a film. Strange.

Biorn lives in a universe with quadratically symmetrical snowflakes…
